Small diamond lozenge aluminium fragment from the wreck of the first Zeppelin to be shot down over England in World War I, by 2nd Lieutenant Frederick Sowrey of 39 squadron RFC on the night of 23/24 September 1916. German class naval Zeppelin length 32 crashed with the loss of all hands, in a field in great Burstead. 25 x 15m m.
