Side table, Purportedly made from timbers Salvaged from the Wreck of the Dunbar, 1857. Timbers collected by Canon Thomas Kemmis 1835-1897), who commissioned the tables construction. Height 96 cm, width 162 cm, depth 48 cm. Other notes: Kemmis went on to become rector of St Mark's Darling point 1864-1897). The table passed to his daughter Mary, who married Cyril white, eventually passing to their daughter Jocelyn white. Gifted in the 1970s to David and Janet Denne, current owner having purchased the table from their estate.
