The September 1964 typewritten manuscript by the author, Thomas a. Miles, for a book to be titled 'Men of Anzac', as submitted to the Shakespeare head press, Sydney, for consideration. Consisting of 137 typed foolscap pages, in a covering letter, the author explains that he has 'concentrated on telling the story from the point of view of one who took part in two of the main events, the Landing and the lone pine Battle.' T.A. Miles was already a published author; his 'The Anzac story for boys and girls' had been published by the Shakespeare head press in 1957. A copy of the book is held by the Nla Canberra.
