A large, Impressively sized 8 day, English, mantel clock. C. Early 19th century. Having a number of features, including a mahogany case, gilt metal mounts with classical gilt columns each side of the dial. The main dial with silvered chapter ring displaying both Roman and Arabic numerals. The 3 x subsidary dials being a chime/ silent function, an advance/ retard function and a dial to change the musical tune. The clock sounds a partial tune, each quarter (from it's 8 bells), and sounds the hour with it's gong. Seems to be in good working order. With both keys, height 65 cm. Cm, width 39.5 cm, depth 22 cm.
