A Qingbai 'Chilong' cup. Possibly Southern Song-Yuan Dynasty. The cup features deep, rounded sides, adorned on each side with a pair of sculpted clambering chilong. The entire piece is coated in a delicate qingbai glaze, with the unglazed mouth rim intentionally left bare, exposing the white body beneath. Provenance: a private collection, Geelong, Australia.
