Wu Deyi (1864-1920s). Calligraphy in running style. Ink on paper, four unmounted album leaves. Inscribed and signed Yi Zhuang, Xinxiang Cike, and Wu Deyi, with four seals of the artist, one dedicated to Cai Zhefu. Three with Cai Zhefu's collector seals. Two dated yiwei year (1895), and dingyou year (1897). Provenance: Choi Jit Fu (Cai Zhefu),Cai Shou (1879-1941) collection and thence by descent. Private collection, Melbourne. 33.5 x 22.5 cm (4).
