A fine rosewood mantle-clock with engraved gilt metal dial, by Timothy Jones Sydney, circa 1880, fusee driven twin train movement with key and pendulum, Timothy Jones and Sons were clockmakers 330 George Street Sydney and London. ( see Sands Directory of 1863) in Sydney, the business operated more as a retailer of imported clocks, some of which the business made at its headquarters in London.
