An extraordinary Burma sapphire and diamond ring, the antique cushion mixed-cut sapphire weighing 8.14 carats, is claw-set between half-moon diamonds, the edge and shoulders pave-set with round brilliant-cut diamonds, the gallery and underrail similarly set, the diamonds together weighing approximately 1.34 carats, mounted in 18ct white gold, size K1/2. Accompanied by a facsimile Agl report numbered 1083528, dated 4 May 2017, stating that the 8.14 carat sapphire is natural, with no gemmological evidence of heat, of Burma (Myanmar) origin.
