A large plain-stem wine glass for William III, England probably circa 1900, the glass circa 1780, round funnel bowl, plain with tear stem, and a domed foot. Engraved with 'The glorious memory of King William III', Boyne, there is some doubt as to whether engraving is contemporary with glass, 1740. It has little sign of wear and overall presents rather too well. Height 190 mm, Foot/Stem/Bowl 70/15/75 mm. Provenance: Paul Hackforth-Jones Collection
