Six friends of Jacobites colour-twist stem wine glasses, English circa 1850, a set of six wine glasses with opaque red and white threads around a white gauze core, each engraved with Jacobite rose, leaves and a moth. but no buds. 12.7 cm high. Provenance: Una Fraser Collection Melbourne. Originally from collection of Mrs Treacy 1920/1930, wife of Captain Treacy, secretary of The Melbourne Club. See also lot 247
