A rare George I walnut bureau-cabinet, in the Dutch taste, English, first half 18th century, the moulded arch pediment, above a pair of shaped and bevelled glass doors, opening to a shelved interior; the fall front opening to reveal a leather lined writing surface with an arrangement of pigeon holes and drawers with a central door, the lower section with three long serpentine drawers raised on squat bracket feet, 223 cm high, 113 cm wide, 60 cm deep, Provenance: The Cunningham family, Somerset, England.
