The E.C. Howes collection of historical Aviation photographs: an extensive collection in twelve volumes, arranged alphabetically by manufacturer, with most photographs taken in the 1920s - 1960s period; although most appear to be of British aircraft of the 1920s - 30s. Collected by Edward Cecil Howes (1903 - 84), who worked in the British aircraft industry until 1949, when he migrated to Melbourne, where he worked for the Department of civil Aviation and later at the Commonwealth aircraft Corp.
