Rare Victorian gilt sterling silver twin scent bottle, pill box and vinaigrette, hallmarked London, 1866, Tj (Thomas Johnson I), with the retailers mark of Jenner & Knewstub, in the form of opera glasses with hinged bases combined to produce a cylindrical form with centre compartment, one end with screw-off cover to the smelling salts bottle, the top of the cover hinging open to reveal a vinaigrette, set with a pierced floral grill, the other end with spring push-button release to the scent bottle, the top of the cover opening to reveal pill box, each bottle decorated with monogram, length 12 cm
