19th century Edwards & Roberts chest of drawers, English, late 19th century, stamped to inner edge of top drawer 'Edwards & Roberts/Wardour St London', in the French style, the burr walnut central panels with ebony borders and divided by satinwood stringing, the top surface featuring a pierced brass gallery trim above seven drawers of equal proportion, each drawer beautifully decorated in the Aesthetic influence with central roundels surrounding the escutcheon, flanked by geometric archaised designs and satinwood foliate scrolling, each drawer containing two brass triangular drop handles, further accented with upper ram mask ormolu mounts, 105 cm, 63 cm, 43.5 cm
