Stunning & rare complete sterling silver, leather and ivory Norwegian belt, by H.W Dee, the leather and sterling silver belt hallmarked London, 1857, H.W.D (Henry William Dee), with retailers stamp of 'J.Cooper/ 41 St James St', the leather belt featuring pierced sterling silver foliate panels and links united via a quick release buckle clasp engraved with crown over an 'M', with ring links to sides suspending a number of matching maker and date appendages including sterling silver scissors in sheath, retractable telescope form pencil, cased notebook with pencil, sheathed knife, horseshoe shaped coin purse, later crystal ball watch and fine leather bound case containing inner vesta, cigarette case and handkerchief holder, plus a horn shaped perfume/vinaigrette hallmarked London, 1857, Sm (Samuel Mordan), the vinaigrette cover with matching engraving as belt buckle, total weight 844gm published: "How the watch was worn, a fashion for 500 Years', by Genevieve Cummins, colour plate 201, page 83.
