Art Deco platinum, diamond & sapphire brooch watch stamped 'Platinum' to inner case, #7591, 17 jewel manual wind movement marked 'Etna watch Co Swiss', with chamfered rectangular brushed silver dial, featuring stylised Arabic hour markers typical of the period, within a superb platinum case set with twenty round cut diamonds and four rectangular cut sapphires to each corner, with additional cabochon sapphire to the crown, case diameter 16 mm, set below a 14ct marked bow form brooch pin with central round cut diamond, platinum weight approx. 6.6gm, 14ct gold weight 3.45gm, total length 6 cm, width 3.5 cm published: "How the watch was worn, a fashion for 500 Years', by Genevieve Cummins, colour plate 619, page 189.
