A 19th century French mantel clock with visible brocot escapement of temple form with incised gilt classical leaf decoration, heavy black slate encased with contrasting marble panels, bevel glazed and brass cover, the white enamel ring with black Roman numerals, with key and pendulum, not tested. Note; minor losses to slate on lower edges, damage to dial enamel. Height 44.2 cm.width 35.5 cm
