A balastroid wine glass, English circa 1750, bell bowl, plain stem with a knop beneath the bowl and one at the foot with an inverted balaster knop in the centre stem, and a folded conical foot. Height 160 mm, Foot/Stem/Bowl 70/10/62 mm. Excellent example of a balastroid. Reference: Bickerton 255, p116
