Description:
A Newcastle light baluster, Dutch wheel engraved, English circa 1740, round funnel bowl, annular knop over ball knop over inverted beaded baluster with basal knop, and a conical foot, engraved with excellent dutch armorial wheel engraving of the arms of South Holland. 19 cm high. Provenance: Barrie Cathcart, from a Tasmanian collection, said to have been brought from The Netherlands by the seller's great grandparents.
