A Saxon wine glass, Saxony circa 1750, thistle bowl with tear, inverted baluster, waisted stem, and a conical, folded foot, wheel-engraved with servant with tumbler of beer in circular cartouche with a wheat stalk each side. Height 173 mm, Foot/Stem/Bowl 72/10/63 mm. Provenance: Barrie Cathcart, from a Tasmanian collection, said to have been brought from The Netherlands by the seller's great grandparents.
