Description:
An opaque-twist soda wine glass - Jacobite Sympathy, English circa 1760, bell shaped bowl, solid base with tears, double spiral opaque twist. stem with four spiral tapes o/s eighteen-ply spiral band stem, and a conical, flat foot, engraved with Rose and leaves, large moth. Height 162 mm, Foot/Stem/Bowl 70/13/65 mm. Possibly a Jacobite piece, somewhat unusually only with a single rose, but no buds.
