A coastal Sepik wood carved spirit small mask plain flat backed, incised carved features with prominent brow, eye features and nose above a small mouth, the eyes with cowrie shell inlay, the head all-over decorated in good strong pigments of lime white, black, ochre and red. Provenance; collected coastal Sepik river area early 1960s. Height 28.5 cm.width 12.8 cm. Depth 9 cm
