An earthenware Satsuma figures decorated large vase and stand the surface finely decorated with floral motifs with enamel jewelling and gilt details enclosing a reserve which shows ten courtesan figures relaxing and conversing in a garden, the opposing with a courtesan dancing to the playing of a wind instrument as a third courtesan carries a tray of flowers, the two smaller reserves show temples in a landscape, diaper borders at the neck and base. Height 38.8 cm
