A 19th century ornately carved ivory card case, serpentine rectangular form, the front with all-over deeply carved decoration with central cartouche including multiple figures in a veranda setting framed by detailed florals upon a geometric carved repeating ground, the reverse finely carved with figures within veranda settings including buildings, trees, etc., carved border decoration. 11 cm x 70.
