An uncommon Australian movement 19th century small mantel clock, the named movement made in Hobart Town by David Barclay with decorative engraved and scroll pierced back plate. The Regency ebonised bronze case enclosing the circular enamelled dial supported above the stepped plinth base, height 18 cm. Apparently running. Note: Barclay (1804-1884) arrived in Hobart from Scotland onboard the ship Resource in 1830.
