Len Castle (1924-2011) flat bottomed bowl with radiating ?chatter? pattern to the centre, uneven wood-ash glaze to the walls inside and out, with a thick glassy green wood-ash glaze mixed with bottle glass covering the chatter pattern to the centre. Unglazed base. Dated by Len to the late 1960's. Stamped mark outside the foot, diameter 33.8 cm. Provenance: From a life long Auckland collector and friend of the potter.
