A Meissen silver clad hot chocolate pot with ivory handle, 19th century the fine Meissen cylindrical moulded porcelain chocolate pot with puce painted floral decoration, in delicate rococo style .900 German silver cladding with removable dome top with swing handle and spout-flap (Moritz Elimeyer, late 19th century), and ivory perpendicular handle relief carved with scrolls, the underside with underglaze blue crossed swords for Meissen, and German silver marks. Height 16.5 cm, width 17.5 cm
