A Superb George III sterling silver Circular Large Salver by Charles Houghham with a beaded rim and flat-chasing to the surface, the broad panel enclosing a large cartouche area with an engraved wolf's head, (Peele), gorged with a collar fleury and counter fleury crest above the wording 'Patrono.Apprime.Fidell.D.D.Clientes.Servati.A.D.Mdcccli.' The salver raised on four beaded and scrolling engraved feet. London 1788, Ch marks. Diameter 51 cm. Height 5.5 cm
