A fine Art Deco four door sideboard in rare Macassar ebony, Paris, circa 1940 the elegant sideboard standing on a shaped plinth base, with slightly recessed double doors flanked by side cupboard doors in superbly-figured macassar ebony, each finished with stylised curvilinear chrome handles and escutcheons, opening to internal shelves and top drawers to the sides, the rectangular top with mottled brown and beige marble, with two original keys; these period sideboards were designed to disassemble very easily to fit in Parisian apartments.
