An Edwardian satinwood painted sewing box on stand, circa 1900 the removable rectangular sewing box with a cavetto moulded hinged cover opening to a crushed velvet lined interior, the exterior painted with a scene of children at play to an oval floral reverse, with tied ribbon borders and spandrels to the sides, upon a stand raised on square tapering tripod legs united by a shaped undertier.
