A Burslem Arts and Crafts Biscuit Barrel by Francis Joseph Emery of the Churchyard Works, 1880 - 1894, the upper panel painted with a continuous frieze of repeat two women head and shoulder profiles before country lanes and stylised trees of early Art Nouveau influence, above a plain pale green ground lower barrel body, silver plate mounts and cover and fitted with a single handle. Height 15 cm
