'Utopia - Batik From The Desert', c. 1988 double-sided poster for exhibition at Adelaide Festival Centre Gallery. Located 270km northeast of Alice Springs, in 1979 a successful land claim hearing resulted in the Utopia community gaining permanent legal title to the leasehold, and it was the women and their batiks that played a key role in the successful land claim.
