An Ernest race 'Cormorant' folding chair, 1961. Afromosia and mahogany/teak ply. Brass fittings. Recipient of a British design Council award. Reg design no 894601. These were used by O. S. N. C (P&O) as deck chairs in the '60s and is most likely from the Canberra or Oriana. Maker label and Orient steam navigation Company impressed, height 68 cm, width 53 cm, diameter 70 cm
