A rare antique colonial blackwood chair on carved legs with scrolled top, circa 1865; with green jacquard upholstery. The top back of the chair has a carved Hobart town coat of arms incorporating the latin 'Sic Fortis Hobartia [Crevit]' (Thus grew Hobart strong) and flanked by acanthus carvings. 111 cm high.
