A good large Pre-European toki pounamu. Carved in superb blue green inanga variety stone with feathery dark and pale inclusions. Tapering rectangular form with well-defined lateral edges, a short bevel and sharp cutting edge. Scarf mark to the lower left side and small natural scarring to the right side. Flawless smooth polished surface throughout
