A pair of early 19th century Indo-Persian steel forearm armour (bazu-bund), with chainmail gauntlets, later cloth lined. Etched with a panelled design of Arabic script within a raised saw tooth border. Pinned and hinged wrist closures. Provenance: The estate of Richard Rice. A noted and life-long Gisborne collector.
