A Sevres porcelain covered chocolate cup and saucer, the cup painted with a portrait of Louis XIV within a 'Jewelled' frame, the reverse painted with the French coat of arms, the saucer and cover each painted with musical vignettes and 'Jewelled' borders, all on blue ground, the saucer titled to base 'Louis XIV', each painted to base with 18th century Sevres marks but 19th century. Height 15 cm. Width 17 cm.
