A stunning antique carved mother of pearl fan, sumptuously hand painted and crafted in three coloured 18ct gold and mounded with diamonds, rubies and emerald. Most likely French, and made as a special commission probably for a member of the Russian aristocracy, 18th/19th century. By far the finest example ever seen in our rooms. 23 cm high, 40 cm wide
