Lemaire (Paris) with H&Co movement, circa 1920 the clock of sloping arched outline in richly figured Breccia Pernice marble decorated with green onyx and portoro marble intersecting trims, centering a striking oval gilt dial with painted stylised Roman numerals inscribed 'Clairetta Lemaire Aubigny' flanked by bronze cranes attempting to catch two entwined serpents, and raised on dragon feet, the 8-day movement with anchor escapement and outside count wheel striking to a bell signed 'H&Co Paris' and numbered 10019, with two conforming side tazze, pendulum, and key; latest service in 2021.
