A French rosewood, tortoiseshell and cut brass inlaid boulle desk stand, retailed by Asprey, London, late 19th century the fine rectangular desk stand decorated all over with scrolling foliage, fitted with two square shaped cut glass ink bottles, a covered compartment and a dished pen tray, inscribed 'Asprey London' to a brass plaque to the underside.
