A Victorian sterling silver four-piece tea and coffee set, 1840 London, with maker's mark for Edward, Edward junior, John & William Barnard the fine early Victorian 4-piece service comprising coffee pot, teapot, sugar basin and creamer, the coffee pot lobed with a domed lid with fruiting finial, and a double scroll handle with ivory insulator, embellished throughout with engraved foliate cartouches, and raised on four scrolled feet, other pieces en suite, each crested to a cartouche and clearly marked underside.
