A quality c.1970 Swiss Reuge mechanical singing bird box, oval form with simulated lapis lazuli panels within gold gilt frame with fine bead detail. Key wind, button operated, the feathered bird rising from below the central top panel, moving, wing flapping and singing above a decorative pierced grille. Working, length 13.3 cm. In original fitted wood box and outer box, with papers. Numbered T26015.
