A pair of quality George III cast silver fancy salts, in the Chinese influenced French style with three seated figures, one smoking an opium pipe. C-scroll spreading rims, the cartouche with engraved winged armorial. Raised on four gent's mask and ball and claw feet. London 1817 by Edward Farrell. 430gms. Provenance: From the collection of Gerry and Valerie Bermel (of Travis Antiques, Wellington 1950's to 1986).
