17th century silk embroidered jewellery box, the fine embroidery embellished with gilt thread applique, featuring various biblical scenes, the lid opens to reveal compartments including a mirror backed decorative centre well, the two front doors open to reveal small drawers, raised on replacement wood bun feet (one of which is loose). Wear and tear commensurate with age. 33 x 23 x 19 cm.
