Description:
Montegrappa, celluloid and sterling silver dragon fountain pen and rock crystal inkwell. Frederico Monti, 1995, the pen of marbled celluloid, overlaid in high-relief with two sterling silver benevolent Chinese dragons with ruby eyes; medium sized 18K two-tone rhodium plated gold nib; pen is cased in a decorative lacquer box. The rock crystal inkwell applied dragon figure with ruby eyes atop a lacquered wooden pen rest. Limited Editions: pen 1366/1912, inkwell 115/500. Accompanied by dust cloth, original packaging and certificates for pen and inkwell, fountain pen length 14.5 cm; inkwell approx. 7 x 7 cm; pen rest diameter 17 cm; case 26.5 x 18.5 cm.
