Released in 2004, limited to 16,500 pieces worldwide(# 4,785 /16,500), Barrel and cap made of precious resin in a deep red translucent colouring, 925 sterling silver fittings and clip. Comes together with original box and paperwork. The writers edition is one of the most famous series of limited Montblanc writing instruments. Every year Montblanc chooses a famous writer and honors them for their art. The Writers Edition design Franz Kafka remembers the writer's style, at the same time simple and artificial, and tributes to his most famous work: "Metamorphosis" with theround barrel section of the pen becoming square.
