Chinese Qing Dynasty standing bronze figure of Maitreya, 18th century, well cast figure of the bodhisattva with a stupa in hair, his right hand in vitarka mudra, the lowered left hand holding a lotus bearing a kundika water bottle, adorned with elaborate crown and jewellery, standing upright on a lotus pedestal in subtle tribhanga posture, evidence of gilt, a/f, (gold repairs, missing some stones), height 32 cm.
