A Chinese export silver Dip pen with a Chinoiserie papier mache pencil case, the dip pen or nib holder with a with figural terminal and tapering stem decorated in low relief with plum blossom on a stippled ground, (Wang Hing, Hong Kong, late 19th century), together with a Chinoiserie pencil case, rectangular with a hinged cover decorated with a volcanic eruption figural scene in muted gilt and colours upon a japanned ground.
