A pair of Chinese famille rose floor vases, late Qing, 19th century, the fine and large pair of Cantonese export famille rose vases, of baluster form with trumpet necks and lion handles, the shoulders with applied chilongs, each with main body decoration of two large panels, one depicting an interior scene of courtiers paying homage to a Lord and his lady, the other with an exterior scene of two warlords on horseback, surrounded by abundant fruit and foliage on a blue ground, with floating cartouches of auspicious symbols, between key fret and patterned borders in pink and yellow enamels; with 1976 valuation from East& West Art for $1200.
