A Chinese porcelain clobbered plate, Qing Dynasty, early 19th century, the porcelain plate of Chinese manufacture in typical underglaze blue decoration, later clobbered or overpainted with dragons and floral motifs in iron red, puce and green enamel with gilt highlights, the main border on a bright lime ground characteristic of pieces clobbered in England, the underside with iron red floral sprigs and pseudo-Chinese seal mark.
